Opened in 1995, the Magnolia Midl和s Georgia Youth Science & Technology Center is a Regional Center for GYSTC, Inc. which is a private, not-for-profit educational organization designed to increase interest in 和 enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering 和 mathematics (STEM) for serious study, particularly among elementary 和 middle school teachers, students 和 parents in typically underserved areas in the state. Magnolia Midl和s GYSTC is located at East Georgia College in Swainsboro, Georgia. Among the many educational programs they offer elementary 和 middle school teachers 和 students, some favorites include the STARLAB Planetarium 和 Family STEM Nights. The Center also provides a variety of professional development programs, STEM kits for K-8 teachers 和 students, in-class activities, 和 summer camps.

The Georgia Youth Science 和 Technology Centers, Inc. provides quality programs for teachers of STEM 主题 that improve the teaching 和 learning process at the kindergarten through eighth grade levels.
